I should note that my opinions are not that of an anti-government ideology. Rather, like many, I believe bounded governance provides an adequate and necessary resistance to societal entropy. My views are however, in direct opposition to the adulteration of government… that we ourselves have enabled.
It is without consequence that we concede to our government convenience in their contempt of the Constitution. Their overreach is celebrated with self-bestowed badges of courage. And should constitutional inaction advance their narrative, they offer feigned humility as it surely must be someone else’s responsibility.
We tolerate the dictatorial behavior of the Executive, and politically motivated rulings of Judicial impunity. As well we allow our Legislature its abdication of authority, such that prerogative becomes the domain of the bureaucrat.
And so, it is here I make my objections; to being governed by the agenda driven ideologue, the incompetent, the unelected functionary, the irresponsible, the unaccountable bureaucracy that stands as obstruction to my liberty. Mine is an indignation for the political corruption of character that jeopardizes our freedom.
