Long ago, governance discovered the people’s susceptibility to a sense of entitlement. History has shown the subsidizing of generational dependency fully exploits this advantage. Here, by the barter of votes, a so rewarded government distributes the blinders and perpetuates duplicitous narratives; one of salvation and the other of absolution. And so it is that freedom gets forsaken by the crutch of government dependency.
